Penicuik Roofline Systems - Kestrel

With sixteen fascia/barge boards and seventeen soffit boards providing an almost unlimited number of style and performance options, the Kestrel Roofline System offers low maintenance PVC-UE product to satisfy all needs.

Penicuik fascia and barge boards are available in three thicknesses (9mm,16mm and 22mm) and in a range of widths of up to 405mm.The 605 series has recently been extended to include new widths of 450, 510, 560 and 610mm. All feature a full system of cover and corner joints and end caps to ensure a complete, smooth, finished appearance long into its lifetime.

The K16 and K22 series of boards offer outstanding benefits over thicker boards. Both products require no timber backing due to their superior rigidity, and have loadbearing properties that will support tiles and gutter brackets. They also feature an extruded-in soffit groove on the reverse to allow flat or sloping soffits to be easily and securely located.

Different aesthetic and budgetary solutions can be provided by a full range of preventilated, non-vented, Shiplap, Open V joint and Hollow soffits. All soffits are compatible with Kestrel fascia and barge boards. The 603 series has recently been extended to include new widths of 450, 500, 550 and 600mm, both compatible with the new widths of the 605 series barge/fascia.Kestrel preventilated soffits feature pre-cut ventilation slots and comply with NHBC and all current Building Regulations.

Kestrel also supply a range of eaves protection and over fascia ventilation products to restrict the ingress of birds, vermin and debris and to protect the roofline against severe weather conditions.

K-Clad Cladding System

Available in both 150mm Shiplap and 100mm Open V joint profiles, the K-Clad Cladding System provides a minimum maintenance alternative to traditional building materials, both internally and externally. An anti-capillary system ensures that ingress of water and subsequent damage to the substrate need never again occur, whilst both the cladding profiles and the impact modified PVC-U trims are ideal for horizontal, vertical and diagonal applications. As well as offering full BBA accreditation for white profiles, the K-Clad Cladding System is also available in 2 woodgrain foiled finishes; mahogany and Sherwood grain, along with woodgrain foiled rims, to suit the colour schemes of many properties.

Window Finishing System

Whatever window system you use, Kestrel provide window finishing products for a completely professional appearance. On the inside Kestrel window boards, reveal liners and window trims feature an elegant, yet hardwearing surface finish.Simple to install over plaster, block or existing window board, they are available in a range of sizes. Six separate sets of skirtings and architraves, ten PVC-UE window trims and eight rigid and flexible PVC-U angles enhance and complete the appearance of any internal surface, whatever its size or nature.

Each product is available in Brilliant White (BW), with selected items also available in Mahogany Woodgrain (WG) and Sherwood Grain (SG), to combine with virtually all PVC-U window finishes. On the other side of the frame, Kestrel have a range of 85mm, 150mm and 180mm cills available in a number of platform widths. Stubnose or dropnose result in one of the most attractive ranges of cills, and the ultra-flat design of K-Cill means that welding is now easier and tidier than ever before.

Rainwater Systems

Marshall-Tufflex guttering systems are manufactured from high impact, high gloss PVC-U. All white fittings boast a unique formulation that provides colour stability and as a result we offer an impressive 10 year guarantee. All Available in white.

Square Line System

The Square Line System is a loose clip design with rounded ends which is easier on the fingers during fitting. This is the only domestic size PVC-U system available with top hung fascia brackets - giving even smoother lines to the finished look of the guttering. Compatible with many well known systems it can be joined in semi-detatched and terraced situations, although we do not recommend mixing systems.

Half Round System

112/68mm (nominal sizes to BS4576) Available in black, white, grey and brown. The Half Round System is a loose clip design with rounded ends which is easier on the fingers during fitting. Universal Systems Plus

Ideal for use on larger residential buildings, small commercial premisies and conservatory roof applications, Universal System Plus has been designed to give a highly aesthetic appearance to complement any property. There is a comprehensive range of fittings available and where required special gutter angles can be fabricated to order.

Universal XL System

The Universal XL guttering system is ideal for installation into properties with large roof areas such as terraced and community housing and light commercial buildings. Its deep elliptical shape takes and impressive capacity of rainwater and maximises flow to the downpipes. This means fewer downpipes are required than other system and consequently they can be positioned further apart. An incredibly effective, easy to maintain system, the running outlets will connect to both square and round downpipes without the need for adaptors.

Lead Flashing

Midland Lead produces lead suitable for all building applications: Flat and pitched roofing, cladding, flashings, gutters, parapets and all lead detail work. Our product is proven over many years as more than 250,000 tons of our lead sheet is currently either on roofs or in lead sheet applications. Our lead sheet has been specified in many prestigious buildings such as Cardiff Castle and Windsor Castle. Midland Lead produces lead sheet to EN Code Weights and in all standard flashing widths and lengths. We can also produce special sizes on request. Laminated Window Boards

PolyBoard EasyCut window boards cut cleanly without chipping so neat mitre joints can be easily made. This not only greatly improves the quality of conservatory or bow window installations, it also solves the problem of making reverse angle joints in for example P shaped conservatories. Window Boards add style and elegance to compliment any window or conservatory, once installed all that is required to keep in pristine condition is a simple clean with a damp cloth and none abrasive cleaner. The range of window boards are manufactured to the highest standard using only top quality materials. A high pressure laminate gives a surface that will last for years and is scratch, heat and moisture resistant, this is bonded onto P3 MR chipboard which is compensated with laminate E backing, the back edge and the underside joint is sealed with a water resistant film.

The Range

All window boards are 23.2 mm in thickness, with a bullnose profile. To facilitate for cut end, a plastic end cap to match the colour of the window board is available. Five colours compliment the range, white, light oak, golden oak, mahogany and rosewood.
